Bicentinnial Halves and Dollars
 
Any Silver in these coins? 40%?

only from specific proof sets i believe. But no in general circulation ones.

Ahh, I see that with the half dollars they lost any silver content after 1970. However, 40% Ike dollars are listed as being 40% for bicentennial.

Both 40% Silver and copper-nickel clad versions of halves and dollars were minted to celebrate the bicentennial. The 40% silver versions can be identified by their color, the "S" mintmark, and the lack of a copper stripe in the middle of the edge.
